Usage

As a new type of photoinitiator, Irgacure 819 is widely used in coatings, inks, adhesives and other industries for its excellent performance. It has greater absorption in the ultraviolet and visible regions and can initiate curing more effectively than other photoinitiators for pigmented coating systems. The Irgacure 819 hardly yellows after curing and long-term light irradiation, so it can be used in applications where yellowing is more stringent, such as white, light inks and coatings. In addition, the Irgacure 819 has a bleaching effect on the light, and the radiation can penetrate the coating, which is beneficial to the complete curing of the thick film. In addition, Irgacure 819 can also be used in colored UV-curable plastic coatings. UV coatings have been widely used in plastic housings of various electronic and home appliance products due to their excellent performance and efficient production, but UV coatings are added. After the deep layer is not cured well, resulting in poor adhesion of the coating film, and poor dispersion of the pigment by the UV resin, which seriously affects the appearance of the coating film. Therefore, the conventional construction process is first applied with a solvent-based colored primer for coloring, and baked.
