Description

Fyrolflex RDP, also known as Resorcinol bis (diphenyl phosphate), tetraphenyl resorcinol diphosphate, tetraphenyl resorcinol bis (diphenylphosphate) and flame retardant RDP, is an oligomeric halogen-free phosphorus based on resorcinol bis (diphenyl phosphate) as a monomer Department of flame retardant. It has the advantages of lower volatility and excellent thermal stability. Fyrolflex RDP is widely used in polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene resin, polycarbonate, polyurethane, EVA, thermoplastic elastomer, and epoxy resin, phenolic resin, acrylic resin, amino resin and unsaturated polyester etc. The flame retardant grade of the obtained product can reach UL-94-2. In different resins, adding 1 ~ 2% can achieve excellent flame retardant effect, significantly improve the melt flow of the resin, greatly improve the processing performance of the resin, and thus maintain the dimensional stability of processed thin-walled products.

Flame retardant effect

Fyrolflex RDP is able to provide the required flame retardancy range of 7-15 phr.

From the perspective of flame retardant properties, fyrolflex RDP can be used as a melt flow improver (1-3 phr) to achieve the minimum loss of dimensional stability.

In addition, another advantage of fyrolflex RDP is its extremely low viscosity, which allows it to control and reduce the conditions of thermal storage.
