Irgacure OXE-01 and Irgacure OXE-02 are oxime ester two-photon initiators with high photosensitivity and are used to initiate ethylenically unsaturated mono- or-radical photopolymerization of polyfunctional vinyl monomers and / or low Polymer. They are particularly suitable for applications that require very high light sensitivity and low yellowing, and can be used to initiate polymerization in monomer environments with poor light transmission. Irgacure OXE-01 and Irgacure OXE-02 are mainly used for the production of color filters in key parts of LCD TVs, which can meet the production requirements of the new generation of large-screen key components RGB and BM. They are also very good in some special coating areas application. Irgacure OXE-01 and Irgacure OXE-02 belong to the high-end varieties of photoinitiators, and the production of this variety has been controlled by BASF. Target markets are South Korea and Japan. As the new generation of LCD production lines is gradually transferred to the domestic market, the domestic market has also begun.

After sufficient testing in UV curable photoresists, Irgacure OXE-01 and Irgacure OXE-02 formulations can be used alone or in combination with other photoinitiators to use sensitizers. It may be of particular interest that imaging applications in color filters are resistant and resistant to the manufacture of black matrices for display applications. Irgacure OXE-01 and Irgacure OXE-02 can also be used in photosensitive polyamide formulations for LCD spacers, microlens materials, overcoat layers and dielectric or insulation layers.


The amount of Irgacure OXE 01 needed to obtain the best performance is determined in tests covering the range of concentrations. The recommended concentration of photosensitive polyimide can be 1.5~3%, and the color filter resist can also be 2~5%.
