Description

Antioxidant 3114 is a high molecular weight, extraction resistant, non-colored hindered phenolic primary antioxidant. It is soluble in acetone, benzene, chloroform, N, N-dimethylformamide, ethanol, and methanol. Antioxidant 3114 prevents the polymer from aging due to heat and oxidation, and has both heat and light stabilization. Antioxidant 3114 is suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, ABS resin, polyester, nylon, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, cellulose plastic and synthetic rubber. Antioxidant 3114 is especially suitable for polyolefin materials and can be used in food-contact polyolefin products (contact with fatty and non-fat foods). Antioxidant 3114 has a synergistic effect with ultraviolet absorbers, light stabilizers, and phosphite antioxidants, which can further improve the photothermal stability of the product.
