Application range
N-Isopropylacrylamide is mainly used to manufacture polymer gels with temperature sensitive properties, such as: drug controlled release materials, enzyme solid materials, dehydrating agents, concentrates, etc.; it can also be used to manufacture denatured latex, special coatings, adhesives, etc.
Description
N-Isopropylacrylamide is an acrylamide derivative monomer. Due to its hydrophilic amide group and hydrophobic isopropyl group in the molecule, its homopolymer has good characteristics such as low critical solution temperature, and is mainly used for manufacturing temperature sensing. Characteristic polymer gels, such as: drug controlled release materials, solid materials for enzymes, dehydrating agents, concentrates, and the like. N-Isopropylacrylamide can also be used to make modified latex, special coatings, adhesives, etc. N-isopropylacrylamide is used to prepare poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPA, pNIPAAm, p?NIPAA or pNIPAm) heat sensitive polymer or copolymer hydrogels. Polymers containing NIPAM contracted sharply above 33℃. The monomer is used to prepare a thermosensitive, water-swellable hydrogel.
